The 2026 McPherson String Scholarship is now open!
The LSO McPherson String Scholarship was created in 1998 by Dr. and Mrs. Richard C. McPherson in honor of their children, Gregg A. McPherson and Kimberly McPherson, to encourage and stimulate interest in string-playing proficiency.
Applications are due May 1, 2026.

We remember Shirley as a lover of arts and community enthusiast. In lieu of gifts, her family is asking donations be made to the organizations Shirley supported.
