October 23, 2010 7:30PM | Tale as Old as Time
Andrew King, Assistant Conductor
A concert of friendship and romance as seen through the eyes of Disney. Four vocal soloists perform songs that tell the tale in a journey of love that will touch your heart and rekindle the hope found in all of the Disney stories. Animated clips from your favorite Disney films will compliment the music featured in medleys that include the songs "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes," and "Bella Notte," "Part of your World" and "Beauty and the Beast." The Disney villains have their moment of glory punctuated by the dramatic music "battle with the Forces of Evil" from Sleeping Beauty, adapted from the original Tchaikovsky Ballet by Disney's staff composers.
